nāscәnt-designs can help you with a variety of website services. Whether it's building a new website from the ground up, or if you just need some help modifying or troubleshooting an existing site.
There's a process for that. From simple blog sites to fully featured business sites, every website project needs a set of goals. These goals ensure you get what you asked for. nāscәnt-designs has a set of philosophies and methods that get you there.
Site design is handled through a Services Contract. This plain language document spells out what you'll get and when. The Discovery step will help us define things like:
- size and complexity, new or redesign
- web platform and tools
- layout and visual preferences
- content sources for text, images, and other documents
- the need for custom imagery or other content
- hosting
- ongoing maintenance
"What's this going to cost me?" It's very common to want to know this up front. While every project is different, here are some general guidelines:
- small sites like blogs, resume, personal interest: $500 - $1,500
- small business sites with modest complexity and some custom imagery: $1,500 - $2,500
- business sites with moderate complexity including eCommerce functionality: $3,500+
- your specific requirements will ultimately determine cost
Hourly Rate: $85
If you'd like ongoing maintenance for your site (whether designed by me or by another), this is generally handled at an hourly rate. If your upkeep needs are higher, I can offer a services retainer that will get you a set number of hours at a reduced rate.
If you've chosen to self-maintain your site, but run into a problem down the road, I'm happy to help. If you have a minor problem, I'll always point you in the right direction to solve the problem, or fix it at no charge. If it takes a bit more research and problem solving, the hourly rate will apply. I'll make sure we're both on the same page before proceeding.
I pride myself on transparency and communication. You will never get an unexpected invoice from me.
